Shelley Ann Ganzy

On Sunday, March 29, 2020, Shelley Ann Ganzy, completed her earthly journey and transitioned to her new heavenly home. She was born January 31, 1961, in Milton, to the late Robert Ganzy and Ida Lynch. She was a 1979 graduate of Milton High School, in Milton Florida. She married Willie L. Baker on March 25, 2005. She was a dedicated and loyal Human Resources Professional at various hospital facilities for 40 years, displaying a gift of service and a natural ability to help others in all facets. Shelley truly lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures, family gatherings, eating at “fancy” restaurants and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Willie L. Baker; a sister, Nellie Ruth (Joe) Johnson; her children, LaToya Mitchell-VanDyke, David “Bebee”(Mandeep) Mitchell, Tyrone Saterfield, Andre’ Saterfield, C. Maria Henderson, Vanessa Phillips (Nakomis) and six grandchildren; DeMontre’ VanDyke, Jackson Saterfield, Tyra Saterfield, Nakyah Phillips, Donald “DJ” Henderson and Deja’ Henderson.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Shelley touched are invited to Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home and Crematory, 1426 Rowe Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32208 on Friday, April 3, 2020 for the visitation from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
