Sarfo Kantanka Nana

As an aspiring medical student, Nana pursued a degree in biology at Florida A & M University. He was participating in a 10-week internship with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (N.O.A.A.) at the time of his passing.

He is a member of the First Coast International Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Nana sought to achieve the highest academic achievements during his years in college. His dedication and commitment to excellence was unparalleled, earning him spots on the dean’s list. If he wasn’t studying, he committed his time to tutoring others. Nana was a free and kind spirit, in his spare time, he volunteered at hospitals. He enjoyed playing soccer, watching his favorite anime, and having friendly debates about DC and Marvel movies with family and friends.

He is survived by his Mother, Felicia Achiaa and his father Edward Boateng both of Jacksonville, FL. Brothers, sisters and Other family left behind include; Kwaku Boateng, Kwadwo Attakora, Ellen Konadu, Juliana Boateng, Martha Boateng, Alfreda Boateng, Patience Inkabi, Deborah Boateng, Augustina Gilbert (all of Jacksonville, FL), Prince S. Boateng (Virginia), Kwaku Sarfo Agyemang (Maryland), Danny Oppong (New York), Linda Kesse (New York), Cann Victoria and kwabena Attakora (Wisconsin).

Visitation will be Thursday August 3, 2017 from 6-8pm in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Friday August 4, 2017 at 10am in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens on August 4, 2107.
