He was preceded in death by his parents Hazel and Harrison Quarrels, his loving wife of 47 years Stella Laverne Quarrels, brothers David, Jim and Harold Quarrels.
Roy “Red” is survived by his children Michael and Toni Quarrels, Bryan (Christina) Quarrels, Stacy (Theresa) Quarrels, Kristie (Phil) Biscoglio, Ivy Quarrels and Eva Quarrels; grandchildren Courtney (Bruce) Winegarner, Brittany (Corey) Farmer, Michael Quarrels II, Allicen (Nick), Aden Biscoglio, Rhett Biscoglio, Jackson Biscoglio, Gwenn Biscoglio, Ellie Quarrels, Heather (Brandon) McClure; great-grandchildren Stella Winegarner, Aubrey Farmer, Isabel Quarrels, Joey Hardin, Kylie Webb, Haely Webb, Amber McClure, Alivea “Bean” McClure, Brandon McClure, Jr. and Brooklyn McClure; and one great-great-grandson SJ.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Edgewood Cemetery, 4519 Edgewood Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32219.
