Rosemary K. Tutt, age 75, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022 after a brief illness. Rosemary was born August 8,1946 and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Kent State University. She relocated from Cleveland to Jacksonville, Florida where she lived at Deercreek Country Club for many years. Rosemary was a professor of Communication at Flagler University in St. Augustine Florida. Rosemary is survived by her husband, Clarence of 37 years, her cousins Marla Zurlo and Mark Carlotta, her beloved Schnauzer, Hollee, and many beloved friends.
Rosemary loved all animals, in particular her Schnauzers Schapps, Gidget and Hollee. Rosemary had many interests. She was an avid golfer, loved to travel and loved her Cleveland Indians and Browns. She was an educator and also had a love of her students and acted as a mentor to many. Rosemary loved living at Deercreek and socializing with the many wonderful friends she made there. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Service will be at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Visitation will be at 1:30pm and Service at 2:00pm. Interment after service with reception will occur Wednesday, March 16, 2022, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. The family asks that any donations be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society or First Tee of North Florida.
