We are here today to honor and celebrate the life of Robert Marvin Tyler (Robby) of Fernandina Beach, Florida, 71 years of age who passed and went on to glory on Sunday, August 14th. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 28, 1950 to Clarence (Junior) and Mary Dennard Tyler. At the young age of 18, Robby joined his father and two (2) older brothers in the ironworking field in which he made a career of for the next forty (40) plus years. He had a passion for playing golf with his brother Tommy and always looked forward to their weekly outings, with the last name Tyler, you know there was competitiveness going on while playing the sport they both loved. He also enjoyed fishing with his son Chad and Grandson Daniel and as you can imagine, there were some stories to be told between those three (3). You could always find him at the baseball field watching his daughter Robyn’s sons, his grandsons Hunter and Joshua playing baseball which always lead to meeting them at the fence giving them a few pointers before going up to bat. Their Papa was one of their biggest fans. Robby loved listening to Elvis Presley. He collected Baseball Cards and New York Yankee Memorabilia with his all time favorite player being #7 Mickey Mantle.
Robby is survived by Pam, his daughter Robyn and her husband Don, his son Chad and his wife Stephanie, Angel and her husband Robert, Vance, his brother Tommy and his wife Pam and Brother-In-Law Ronnie.
