My love Robert C Gunter (89) of Saint Augustine, Florida has passed away on September 26, 2021.
Robert was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 27, 1931. He attended school in Atlanta until he was drafted into the United States Army and was honored to serve in the Korea war. After he completed his military duty, Robert was employed for 30 plus years in the motion picture film industry until he retired and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Those who knew Robert knew that he could not just sit around doing nothing. Robert started working part time and moved to full time at Sam's Club. Robert also was a member of the Will Rogers Pioneer Foundation and The Variety Club.
Some of Robert’s greatest passions were cooking and square dancing. Robert met many friends traveling to different resorts for square dancing. Robert was always ready for the next adventure, whether it was traveling to Biloxi with friends or going on the cattle drive in Colorado. I can’t forget the numerous times that we went to The Varsity in Atlanta, Georgia. Oh, what fun we had.
My love, Robert had such a soft heart and was a kind and thoughtful person. As some of your friends would say, especially Tom Sawyer (Rita), he loved to take one dollar and make five out of it. We shared so many great years together.
Your Baby Boy Alfie misses his belly rubs and I love you always to the moon and back.
Your loving Wife-
Lee
