Ricky Nolan Bagley, Sr., 60, of Jacksonville, served as a locomotive engineer with Florida East Coast Railway for 30 years before retirement and was currently employed with Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office as a Crossing Guard. Ricky departed this life in Jacksonville on Saturday, July 29, 2017. He was born on August 24, 1956 to Arthur and Anna Bagley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Nolan Bagley, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Anna Bagley (Jose) of Jacksonville, FL; wife, Linda Bagley of Jacksonville, FL; sons, Clay Davis (Molly) of Jacksonville, FL, Ricky Bagley Jr. (Heather) of Middleburg, FL, and Mark Bagley of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Sabrina Gillespie of Jacksonville, FL, Trudy Peterson (Nathan) of Middleburg, FL, Sandi Allen (Thomas) of Jacksonville, FL; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6-9:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00pm at Mandarin Church of God of Prophecy, 3840 Burnett Park Rd., Jacksonville, Florida, where Mr. Bagley was a longtime member, officiated by Pastor David Kidd and Pastor Dale Kitchens. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
