Richard Larry Luke, 79, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born April 13, 1940 to Emory and Mary Luke in Palatka, FL. Larry loved and adored his grandchildren. They were the apple of his eye. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Larry was a meat cutter most of his life and he absolutely loved going to work at Walmart. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Lee Cook. Larry is survived by his daughters Susan (Josh) Williams, Tonia (Karl) Zillgitt, Lori Kelley (Kimberly Deberry), grandchildren Joshua Williams, Hailey Francis, Brooke Francis, Sydney Francis, Malik Zillgitt, Monte Zillgitt, sister Loretta (Edward) Denham as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 3:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
