Pete Wheeler, 48, of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012. . Pete is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 23 years Jackie and his son Jake. Pete is preceded by his parents Lucille and Roy C. Wheeler, Jr. (deceased), brothers; Ronald L. “Butch” (deceased), LTC. Charles R. “Buz” (retired), Gerald E. “Cork”, Phillip W. “Curley”, and John G. “Babe” Wheeler (deceased) and sisters; Mary W. Wisniewski, Sally Burns, and Della Tubbs.
Pete was a dedicated husband and father. He was the proprietor of Wheeler Power Products in Jacksonville. His love for racing, family, and friends was unprecedented. He will be remembered for his unrelenting spirit, determination, and unquestionable loyalty to those dearest to him.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, located 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Graveside service will commence at 10:00 am at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
Following the service on Friday, his family invites you to celebrate his life at his business at 9985 103rd Street.
