She was a former member of Mandarin Baptist Church and most recently First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Peggy was an alumnus of Belmont College in Nashville, TN. She enjoyed being a lifelong musician, teacher of music and a member of the National Music Honor Society.
Family members include her husband of 47 years, William Henry Wiggs, III; her daughters, Laqueta Soule, Chattanooga, TN (Robert M. Soule) and Angela Hiler, Jacksonville, FL (Timothy J. Hiler); grandchildren, Hannah, Andrew and Christopher Hiler of Jacksonville, FL; her sister, Carolyn Talley, Nashville, TN and brother, James Byars, Chattanooga, TN.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 22nd in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23rd in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Interment will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
