Cherie (Peggy Cheryle) Taulbee, age 74, passed away on Thursday, September 16th, 2021. Cherie was a native of Middletown, Ohio, but has resided in Jacksonville since 1969. She was retired from both Bank of America as well as Allstate Financial Services. She was a beloved member of the ASPCA community.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Doug (Denver Mason) Taulbee in 2011, who she is now happily reunited with in heaven.
Cherie is survived by many members of her two main passions in life: her family of humans and her family of dogs. Survivors include her two children, Karen Taulbee (Stephen Fant), John Taulbee (Donna), granddaughter Sheryl Taulbee, great-granddaughter Emma Jones, and beloved doggy family consisting of Lyric, Jason, LuLu, CoCo, Dufus, Ouiser, and Inky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Middletown, Ohio.
She will be laid to rest alongside the love of her life at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
