Jo, as she was known by her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, or Pat as she was known in her married life, was an incredibly strong woman who didn't know the meaning of the word “can't". She had a love for her family that knew no bounds and was never happy unless her family was happy. She was strong willed, with definite opinions on most topics. In addition, she had no problem letting anyone know how she felt about their opinions on those same topics. Not once did she ever complain about pain, even in the last few weeks of her life, where just getting up and walking had become extremely difficult.
She loved to dance and was usually the life of any party. She lived by the motto, “Live, Love, Laugh”. No matter how big the crowd, you could always hear her laughter above it all. She loved music, especially Frank Sinatra, Elvis, and John Fogerty.
An avid sports fan, she loved all sports; but Baseball and Football were her favorites. From the Brooklyn Dodgers to her beloved New York Mets, she would never miss a game, whether on TV or the radio.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy Joseph Parisi of Redding, CA and Joseph James Parisi, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida. , a sister Fran Napolitano (Johnny) of Howard Beach, New York, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and brother and sister in laws. She was preceded in death by the love of her life , her husband of 50 years, Joseph James Parisi, Sr,. two sisters, Lee Roder and Sue Greca and one brother, Sam Rizzo.
