She was preceded in death by her parents Wade Hampton Scott and Annie Mae Owens Scott, her sister Eunice Scott Matlock of Tallahassee, her brothers Earl Wade Scott of Carlyle, Illinois, Michael V. McVeigh of Deland, and her son Donald Christie Greene of Jacksonville.
Her grandchildren include Jennifer Charipar (Andrew), Catherine Gordy, BrynAnne Nielsen (Jason), and Jeremie Faircloth. Her great grandchildren include Michael and Ayla Charipar, Hannah and Elliott Nielsen, Quinn Faircloth, Becca and Miranda Tyer, and Blake Belyea.
A Visitation and Reception for Ouida will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL, with a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. A committal service will occur directly after the Funeral Service.
