Norma Jean Vaeth, 78, passed away on April 5, 2016. Norma was born in Festus, MO to the late Anna Laura Miller and Lonnie Henry Besand. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hilsboro and San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church in Saint Johns, FL. She will be best remembered for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Norma is preceded in death by her sisters, Rita Besand and Dorothy Wynn. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Erwin Henry Vaeth; children, Terry (Wendy) Vaeth of St. Springtown, TX, Ronald (Connie) Vaeth of Hillsboro, MO, Michael (Barbara) Vaeth of Saint Johns, FL, Denise (Lawrence) Ackerman of Festus, MO, Jaime (Michael) Nelson of Bloomsdale, MO; sister, Mary Lou Dobbs of Festus, MO; eighteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on April 22, 2016 at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church (1718 SR 13, St Johns, FL 32259) with Father John Tetlow officiating.
