Nina Nannette Teuschel, a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and businesswoman, passed away on October 6th, 2024, in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. Born on April 8th, 1955, to loving parents Gabriel Robert DiRamio and Lula Abdullah Wallace, who instilled in her the values of hard work and dedication. Nina was a devoted wife to Daniel Teuschel, and together, they built a life filled with love, loyalty, and cherished memories.
Nina's greatest joy came from being with
family. She loved her family immensely and made every effort to ensure they were taken care of. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and care.
A proud graduate of Samuel W. Wolfson
High School in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1973, Nina was a lifelong learner who
valued education and encouraged this in others. She would go on to own and operate a family business before retiring to spend time with loved ones.
In her personal life, Nina was best
described as charismatic, creative, resilient, and witty. She volunteered for and donated to many school events to help support her community. Nina was crafty and loved DIV projects. Music has also been a monumental part of her life. Nina's favorite song, "And You And I" by Yes, often filled the rooms of her home, bringing joy to all who heard it.
Nina is survived by her devoted husband,
Daniel Teuschel, supportive brother, Nicholas DiRamio, 6 loving children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Her loss will leave a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her memory will continue to inspire us all.
We invite everyone who knew and loved Nina to honor her memory and join us in celebrating her life. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, at 12pm, at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in those whose lives she touched.
