Neil Richard Eisinger of Jacksonville, Florida passed away in peace on October 10, 2021. Neil was born in Buffalo, New York on February 22, 1930. He was the last survivor, and second oldest of four brothers, Bill, Paul (Fil) and Jim (Donna), born to Francis and Marion Eisinger.
Neil graduated from Kenmore High School in Kenmore, NY as part of the class of 1948. He then served in
the Army during the Korean War, receiving his honorable discharge in May of 1953.
After the war, Neil went to work for the Dunlop Tire Corporation in Buffalo, where he met Patricia Ann Davisson, his future wife. They were married on July 25, 1958. In 1978, Neil and Pat took their three children to Jacksonville, Florida. There, they owned and operated Hallmark stores for eighteen years.
Neil was a Master Mason and member of the C.G. Fox (merged with Ancient Landmark Lodge) for over
sixty-five years. Neil is survived by Pat, his wife for sixty-three years, three children (Ron, Diane, and Tom) six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Neil on October 25, 2021 with a viewing at 11:00 AM and the service
at 11:30 AM, at the Lakewood Presbyterian Church (2001 University Blvd. W, Jacksonville, Florida), with burial at Jacksonville National Cemetery to follow at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lakewood Presbyterian Church or Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring Hospice.
