Mildred Lee Bostic, 100, widow of William Frederick Bostic died peacefully Sunday, September 24, 2023 in the Terrace of Jacksonville, FL. She was born Mildred Lee Monroe on May 31,1923 in Spry, Pennsylvania, one of eight children to Rev. Wayne Alexander Monroe and Edith Carson.
Mildred Lee worked and retired as a psychiatric nurse at Perry Point VA hospital in Port Deposit, MD. After retirement she continued her love of quilting, stain glassing, painting and traveling.
She leaves behind a brother Allen Monroe, two sisters Jane Dobbins and Mary Ponder, her daughters Carol Lisa Aboudan and Rebecca Jane Alcantara and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one daughter Kimberly Sue Linkenback and one son William Joseph Bostic. A private ceremony to follow.
