A memorial service for Mary Theresa Bivins, 83, will be held in the Town & Country Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11:00am. Mary Theresa was a previous resident of Jacksonville and lived the last 24 years in Salt Springs, FL. Mary was Head Nurse of Orthopedics at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and retired in 1989 with 38 years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Laura Hough, as well as her husband of 36 years, Robert M. Bivins. Mary is survived by one daughter Dona Overstreet, one son Michael R. Bivins (Beth), one granddaughter Holly Mundy (Shawn) and one great-grandson Hunter Mundy. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
