Martha W. Johnson, age 88, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Greensboro, NC and attended Duke University. Martha also resided in Charleston, SC, Honolulu, HI, and most recently, in Jasper GA. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Edith Weidler, her beloved Aunt Mary, and her husband of over sixty years, Robert C. Johnson, Jr. USN, Ret. Martha is survived by her son, Robert C. Johnson III (Valerie) of Jasper GA, daughter, Martha Susan Greene (Bobby) of Jacksonville, FL, son, Kenneth W. Johnson (Jeanette) of Charleston, SC, grandchildren, Jennifer and David Greene of Jacksonville, FL, and her brother, Raymond Weidler of Charlotte, NC. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Baptist Hospital for providing our sweet mother and grandmother wonderful and compassionate care. Martha will be buried with her loving husband at sea.
