Margaret Herbert Landon, 83, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born to Bigus and Bessie Singleton in Hawkinsville, GA. Margaret retired from the Mayo Clinic and loved spending time with family. She is preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Manasco. Margaret is survived by her daughters Patty (Ted) Slappey, Linda (Edward) Van Gundy, sons Roy (Darlene) Herbert, Mark Herbert as well as numerous grand and great-grandchildren. A visitation for friends will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 from 12-1pm. Funeral services to begin at 1pm with interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
