Maggie was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed life and enjoyed being with her children and family. Maggie’s face would light up when her children or family would come to visit. She loved to sing, play piano, go to Church and worship the Lord, and loved to fish.
Maggie will be missed by her children and family.
She is survived by daughters, Susan Mae Bennett, Sandy Eibach (John), Debra A. Higginbotham (Fred), Elaine Gleaton (Lee), Mary Higginbothan, Leona Malinda, Virginia Loisann Murphy (Scott) and Lyndora Louise Collins (Darrell); 26 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Ovied B. Lumpkins and sons, Ovied Dewayne Lumpkins, Daye C. Lumpkins and John Lumpkins.
A receiving of family and friends for Maggie will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Doctors Inlet Church of God, 144 Old Jennings Road, Orange Park, FL 32065. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Doctor's Inlet Church of God, 144 Old Jennings Road, Orange Park, FL 32065. A committal service will occur Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
