Lori Harrison Cline of Saint Johns, Florida departed this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from complications of Frontal Temporal Degeneration. She was born in Gary, Indiana on October 17, 1955 but spent most of her life in the Southeast states of Florida, Georgia and Virginia.
Lori graduated from Saint Augustine High School and spent most of her working life in outside Sales with great personal success in the field of residential mortgage lending representing both national and regional lenders including, Chase Manhattan, Citigroup, NBank Mortgage and Dime Mortgage among others. She began her career in Sales with PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. of San Francisco then became the Client Liaison for Sellers Atkinson and Jose in Atlanta, GA a major law firm specializing in residential loan closings before becoming a Wholesale Loan Representative for the above listed Georgia based Lenders. She was the Co-founder and an elected officer of the Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Professional Mortgage Women, an organization designed to recognize and promote the success of women in the field of mortgage banking. Lori also served as a Director of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Atlanta and served on the Education Committee of the Georgia Mortgage Brokers Association aimed at increasing the professionalism and knowledge levels of new and existing members of the Georgia mortgage lending industry. She won many awards in her career and gratitude from both her employers and customers. On the personal side, Lori loved to entertain with gourmet prepared meals and libations served at her home in Atlanta or weekend retreat at Lake Harding, AL. Her pride and joy came from co-designing and decorating her retirement home on scenic Lake Harding located between Columbus, GA to the south and Auburn, AL to the Northwest. Many happy times were held in this home and long lasting relationships formed. She loved boating on this lake and was often seen on her jetski and personal Craig Cat.
Lori is survived by her parents, Richard and Gloria Harrison of Mechanicsville, VA, her spouse of 33 years, Ronald L. Cline of Saint Johns, FL and his two daughters, Kimberley Cline of Everett, WA and Kara Roberts of Murietta, CA, her Brother and Sister in law, Jeffrey and Debra Harrison of Jacksonville and nephews Chris Harrison and Craig Harrison, nieces Stacey Fields and Shannon Scheibel their spouses and 7 children all of Williamsburg, VA. The family will have a Celebration of Life in Williamsburg upon elimination of the Covid-19 virus later this year.
Final Arrangements are being provided by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin in Jacksonville, FL and will be limited to immediate family members in Jacksonville. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Association for Frontal Temporal Degeneration at 2700 Horizon Drive, Suite 120, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
