Lisa Saline Williams, age 55, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2023, with her husband holding her hand and surrounded by her loving family, following her brave fight with cancer. Lisa was born on February 25, 1967, in Logan, West Virginia. She married her sweetheart, Matthew Williams, on October 22, 1993.
Lisa was a dedicated wife and mother who adored spending time with her family and friends and who gave selflessly to all she knew. Her giving heart and loving nature lead her to nurture others, which is an example for all to emulate. Her passions included baking, cooking, gardening, watching movies, and caring for others. Lisa’s smile lit up the room, and her sense of humor was endless.
Lisa was blessed with a large and loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce Ferguson and Joaquin Aguilar. She is survived by her husband, Matthew Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Kody Stafford, and her soon-to-arrive grandson, James Wayne Stafford; daughter Kasey Williams; sisters BeeBee Aguilar and Jennifer Poulin; brother Van (Eric) Aguilar; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you is extended to her niece RN Mandee LeRoy, who accompanied Lisa to many appointments and provided her care and medical administration in her final journey to heaven.
A celebration of life for Lisa will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
