He was born in Gainesville, Florida on May 13, 1949 to Joseph and Marie Glick. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida and then in 1973 he married Jane Hill, whom he was setup with by her sister-in-law at a local department store in Gainesville. Six years later they welcomed the arrival of their first daughter, Misty, and later, in 1983, Holly. He managed several local shoe stores and later changed careers to the banking industry where he worked on titles before retiring.
In his free time Larry enjoyed car shows, watching WWE wrestling, cheering on the Florida Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars, and spending time with his wife. He was always quick with a joke or pun, loved driving (a little too fast), and finding grammatical errors in the newspaper.
He is predeceased by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Jane, daughters Misty and Holly (Scott), and his four grandchildren, Kieran, Rocco, Lorelei, and Gianna.
