Lacy Rudolph Burch

Burch, Lacy R., 80, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on June 7, 2016 after a brief illness. Lacy was born in Folkston, GA to the late Mark and Effie Jones Burch. Lacy was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years Norma Williams Burch, three brothers Sidney, Wyndell, Laverne and two sisters, Mary Lou Pickett and Shirley Wingate.

Lacy was retired from the city of Jacksonville where he worked as a Supervisor for 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing cars, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Old Plank Road Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Betty L. Burch; his 4 daughters, Pam (Gene) Williams, Nelda Solomons, Judy (Terry) McGinley, Tina (Bodie) Callahan; 2 step-daughters, Lenorea (Dale) Leggett, Anita Bryant; 4 grandsons, Scott McGinley, Daniel McGinley, Justin Callahan, Cody Callahan; 2 step-granddaughters, Michelle Looney, Laura Whitehead; 6 great-grandchildren, Kadee, Ryann, Rylee, Clayton Jake, Savannah, Kimber; 5 (step)great-grandchildren; 9 brothers and sisters; Arnold Burch, Alma Connor, Robert Burch, Donald Burch, Linda Hand, James Burch, Jerry Burch, Iris Bargeron, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 6-8pm at Old Plank Road Baptist Church, 8964 Old Plank Road, Jacksonville, FL 32220. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016, 1 pm, with Rev. Larry McGinley officiating, at Old Plank Road Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
