Kenneth was a kind and gentle man who loved providing for and protecting his family. He had career as a Boilermaker. Kenneth entered the trade apprentice program at age 21 and after 38 years of doing what he loved retired at age 59. He was known by his coworkers as “Big Bird”. After retirement, he enjoyed camping, watching Westerns with his sons and relaxing at the family pool with friends and loved ones. He served as beloved member of Englewood Christian Church since 1996.
Kenneth died unexpectedly on Monday, September 13, 2021 at his home in Jacksonville, FL. He is preceded in death by his half brother, Marvin Lewis of Bloomington; Sister Mary Vincent Duncan of Bedford, IN; And his widowed spouse, Brenda Jean Vincent (Cassidy) of Tell City, IN.
He is survived by his wife Mary E. Vincent of Jacksonville, FL; sons: Dean A. Vincent and Michael W. Vincent (LaToya) of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren; Holly Louise Vincent of Australia (Dean), Claire Ramsey, Rebekah Ramsey, Avery Ramsey, Shawn Ramsey and Joel Ramsey; niece; Carla Duncan Wade of Bedford, IN; stepsons; Peter Ramsey (Heather) of Jacksonville, FL. and Philip Ramsey (Erin) of Clermont, FL., and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 with visitation one hour prior to service, at Englewood Christian Church, 4316 Barnes Road, Jacksonville, FL 32207, with Pastor Pete Ramsey as Officiant, followed by interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
