Kathy Sweat Wallace, 66, passed away peacefully at home on May 4, 2024. She was born on May 25, 1957 to the late Gloria and Fred Sweat.
Kathy is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Wallace. They were married for 21 years. Survivors include her sister, Lynn (Charlie) Logue; brother, Ken (Lisa) Sweat; 2 nephews, 1 niece and 2 great-nephews.
Kathy’s career started as a fire/rescue dispatcher. There she met the love of her life, Bill Wallace. Together they worked side by side managing Ambulance Service, Inc. which Bill had established in 1966.
Funeral services will be held graveside at 11:00 a.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd. Following the service there will be a reception honoring Kathy’s life in the Legacy Lodge at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn.
