Joyce Beverly Waters

Joyce Beverly Waters, age 82, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on December 2, 2023. She was born in Waycross, GA on June 21, 1941 to Blanche Beverly Cason. She married Robert Waters on February 22, 1958.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, aunt and friend, who will truly be missed. Joyce loved making flower arrangements, wreaths and going to craft fairs. She was an avid Tennessee Volunteers and Kansas City Chiefs fan (Patrick Mahomes was her favorite).

Joyce is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Waters; sons, Kenneth Waters (Jennifer) of Minot, North Dakota and Anthony Waters (Becky) of Flintstone, GA; daughter, Robin Hayes (Leslie) of Middleburg, FL; grandchildren Josh Waters (Ashley) of Kentucky, Derrick Dunwoody (Danielle), Erica Watson (Dave) of Georgia, Taylor Risner (Dylan) of Indiana, Macy Robison of Florida, Kori Hayes (Danielle) of Florida, Joel McDonald of Florida, Sierra Waters of North Dakota and Summer Waters of North Dakota; 11 great-grandchildren; and also several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death are her mother, Blanche Beverly Cason; stepfather, James H. Cason; and brothers, Buddy Cason and Ray Cason.

A visitation for Joyce will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Road, Jacksonville, FL 32210. A committal service will occur Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
