John is survived and missed by his loving wife, Amy, and his children, John Jr (Shari), Stephen (Angie), Lisa, and Shannon (Dave). Forever cherished and remembered by his five grandchildren, Lisa, Chris, Zac, Will, and Andrew.
Some of his greatest joy came from the successes of others, including family and friends.
John had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and was often spending his spare time researching topics of interest or reading books. He enjoyed cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels, Ham Radio, working in his workshop, boating and sharing his knowledge with family and friends. John loved traveling and never turned down a good trip.
John was never afraid to take on new opportunities and did everything with honesty and integrity. He had very strong values and was well liked by everyone. He had incredible patience in teaching, and always made time to help others.
His legacy will carry on forever reminding us that hard work pays off. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like Christ modeled for us.
