John Edward Davis, 77, of St. Johns, FL, passed away on August 1, 2023. He was a loving and caring Husband, Father, and family man. John lived by the words that it is better to give than receive, finding happiness in taking care of others.
John is survived by his wife Sharron Davis, his sister Judith Jenkins of Columbia, MO, his children Ronda Wilson of Jacksonville, FL, John Davis Jr. (Lauren) of St. Johns, FL, and Jason Davis of St. Augustine, FL. He will be fondly remembered as Poppy to Bree Bennett (Scott), Hailey Davis, Ellie Davis, Ethan Davis, and Owen Bennett. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy and Alvin, and his son Robert.
John loved spending his time outdoors, particularly landscaping his yard. Pulling weeds and planting flowers brought him joy on weekends. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and pets.
Memorial services will be held at Hardage-Giddens at 11801 San Jose Blvd from 5pm-8pm.
