John W. Bentley, 77, passed away September 10, 2014. He was born July 8, 1937 in Miami, Florida. He is predeceased in death by his parents Alton and Mellie. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Donna; two sons, John, Jr. (Jacky) and his wife, Carol, and Don; and two grandchildren, Brandi and Justin.
John was a loyal, loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, extended family and friend. He was generous, kind, and lived life with integrity. He sold his A/C Company and retired in 2008, and also taught school after that.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Cancer Society on Sunbeam Rd. or to the Heart Association on St. Augustine Rd.
Visitation will be held at The Oaklawn Chapel on Friday, September 12th, 2014 from six o’clock to eight o’clock in the evening.
