Jill was quite incredible. She seemed to have an interest in everything we studied. She was accomplished and successful  in her studies as well. She had a great easy-going personality. I was jealous of those dimples.

Jill was one of the first people I met when I moved to Jax when I just happened to sit next to her at a PRSA meeting. I thank God for bringing her into my life that day. 

I will miss her so much--her wit and wisdom, belly-aching laughter and hilarious stories. I cherish every day I got to spend with her. 

To her family, I send prayers for strength and comfort. I know she is in heaven livening up the place.

My dear, devoted friend of 56 years, there is a huge hole in my heart!  So many shared thoughts and experiences to cherish, so much laughter and more than a few tears to remember. Now,these memories of you must suffice, my unique and irreplaceable soul sister. Rest in peace.

A sweet, smart, creative inspirational and fun woman. Really enjoyed being around Jill. Strength to your family.

It's time to say "goodbye" too soon. Again another friend is taken. Again another talented artist gone. I'm sure Jill had other photos to take, other brochures to design and more plants to grow. I will always remember her good nature and kindness. Her fabulous parties, although not always the galas she might have expected, always fun. She was a woman from another era. A time when women laughed loudly and scorned tradition. I still have photos around the house of fun times and friends that she took. To say she will be missed is an understatement. And I know her creativity lives on in those who had the pleasure to know her even for her brief years she was with us. Goodbye, Jill. I'm glad to call you friend!

Jill was so fun to work with, to talk to, and to simply just be around.  Always smiling, laughing, and the ultimate jokester.  And to Jill's family and friends, my sincerest condolences and prayers. I miss her already.

Oh, Jillo...if I could be half as courageous and caring as you...I, selfishly, can't believe we won't have our deep and lengthy conversations any more.  You were my friend through so many bad decisions in my life.   I miss you.

My deepest condolences to the family. I lived next door to Jill for several years in the 1970s and worked with her at UNF. I'll never forget her playful sense of humor, full-bodied laughter, and the photo excursions we made around Jacksonville in those early days.  She pursued everything with authentic devotion and a refined sense of style. Farewell to one of the original "Buckettes."

My kitchen will not be the same without you by my side cooking. Somehow we manage to get it all done together. I am running around like a turkey with my head cut off and you are taking notes and organizing everything. Who will polish the silver? You know I hate to do that. It is your job.
We will celebrate the holidays, but it won't be the same. We will keep your spirit alive through our memories and stories of our life with you. We have shared so much in our life. The loss is deep.
