Jennifer Lynn Denny-Washington was born on February 4, 1979, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. She passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, after being struck by an automobile on Friday morning, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was 45 years young.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Halfmoon, her mother Terese Vencil and her son Messiah Washington. She is survived by her three siblings, William Denny, Lisa Burns, and Sarah Chadwell; her two beautiful daughters Kiona Harrington and Annese Washington; and her three amazing grandbabies Ezra, Zachariye and Aziel all whom she loved dearly.
Jenny was second born in a family of four and grew up in Omaha, Nebraska as a child. She excelled in school in many different areas. She played the violin, was active in several National Honors Society events, and was even part of Girls Scouts of America. She was also talented when it came to sports. She played Basketball, Volleyball, and ran Track & Field, which explains Jenny’s love for sports later in life.
Shortly after the birth of her first child Kiona, she moved to Jacksonville Florida. She became employed with the Internal Revenue Service, where she worked for the next 14 years, and met her husband Willie. They then were blessed with two more children, Annese and Messiah. Now with her passing, they will be laid to rest together. Mother and Son, reunited, together forever.
