On Sunday morning, November 27th, Jeffrey Guy Salter passed away. He was fifty-seven years old. Jeff was born to Homer Salter, Jr., and Gwen Lancaster Miller. He led a life full of compassion, joy, and humor. He honorably served his country in the US Navy for eleven years. During his dedicated years of service, he made incredible friends and always managed to put a smile on the faces of those around him. Jeff was best known for his quick-witted humor, fierce determination, and generous spirit. His outgoing and vibrant personality was on display for friends, family, and strangers alike. He was an ultimate competitor who loved to fish, play games, and entertain.
He is survived by stepfather Donald Miller, Sr., son Jared Salter (Elizabeth), granddaughter Alice Salter, brothers Homer Salter III, Donald Miller, Jr. (Amanda), sisters Shari Freitas (Tony) and Angela Edenfield (Mike) and his beloved nieces and nephews.
