Jeanette J. Honsa passed away Tuesday morning December 10, 2013 after an extended illness. Jan is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Etheridge of Chiefland and two grandsons, Matthew Meza and Shawn McGovern of Orange Park. She has two sisters; Evelyn Bennett of Gainesville and Mildred Jaggers-Jones of Lady Lake and two brothers; Curtis Jaggers of Lady Lake and Frank Jaggers of Wildwood. She also has two grandsons in Chiefland, and 12 nieces and nephews. Jeanette is a member of the Riverside Baptist Church where she served as an ordained Deacon before her illness. She was an avid reader, loved gardening, the Arts, animals and Nature. She was a member of the Audubon Society and the Wild Life Federation. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:00pm with Pastor David Holliday, previously of the Riverside Baptist Church officiating at Greenlawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for viewing beginning at 1:00pm on Saturday December 14, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Boulevard.
