James Franklin Miller Sr, 75, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 31, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. James was born on October 10, 1939 in Beckley, West Virginia. James was preceded in death by his mother Iren Miller, father William Miller, and two sons James Franklin Miller Jr and Billy William Miller. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Kathleen Ann Miller; four children Marjorie R. Miller, David W. Miller, David K Miller, Jeanne Miller; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He worked for the local carpenter 627 for 42 years. He will be missed by his beloved family and friends. A visitation will be held 5:00- 6:00 pm on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
