J. Preston Cole, 78, went to be with Jesus on 10/28/2014. A memorial service will be held at 11AM on 11/7/2014 at Anastasia Baptist Church, 1650 A1A, St. Augustine, FL 32080. Pastor Walter West to officiate with a visitation to be held one hour prior to service. Preston is survived by his wife Jana, daughters Diane DeMarco, Priscilla Cole, Marsha Allender, step-sons Jay and Josh (Bobbie) Parker, brother Marvin (Pat), twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other family, plus a host of friends here and in North Carolina where he and Jana summered after retirement. Also included is Paul Edwards, who was like a son to Preston. Preston was a great story teller and a people person with a generous spirit. He will always be remembered by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to NE FL Community Hospice.
