Holly Leah Minchew, age 60, passed peacefully from this life on April 2nd, 2023 at St. Vincent’s Community Hospice in Jacksonville, FL.
Holly was born on April 6th, 1962 in Jacksonville, Florida, to Christopher Mccleary and Letha Newmans. She graduated from college with an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement, and worked as a Police Officer until her retirement. She was an avid fan of television dramas such as CSI Miami and House and spent many evenings relaxing and watching them. Holly also loved to read, and was a follower of the Baptist faith.
Holly is survived by her children, William Minchew, and David Minchew II; her mother, Letha Newmans; and many friends.
She received excellent care at both Orange Park Hospital, St. Vincent's, and Hardage- Giddens in both life and death.
