It is hard to believe a year has gone by. I could write for days about you. I could write a book about you, and the perfect person you were. I miss your voice, your hugs, your advice, your kiss, your tender love, your spiritual guideness, I miss everything about you. I miss our bickering and our apologies to each other when we were finished. I miss laughing with you and your sweet smile that made everything ok. You truly saved my life. Having a relationship with God is the most important relationship to have, thank you for teaching me that. Thank you for your endless encouragment, always being there, and driving me to be a forgiving, God-fearing, loving woman. "Faith hope and love - but the greatest of these is Love." Not only were you my grandfather, you played the role of a father, a friend and ultimately were my foundation of the Christian woman I have become. You were such an inspiration, a driving force, a prime example of what a child of God looks like.  Your strive to be perfect in Christ taught me what to look for in a husband, also how to be a Christian friend, daughter, and future wife. You brought endless amounts of grace, forgiveness, lessons, and to this day and for the rest of my life, I owe so much credit to you. You lived a life for God and for others. You lived such a Christ like life, you gave us such a great gift after your passing - you left us with peace and relief that you are not suffering, instead you are living with your Father in Heaven, in the mansion he made for you. I love you more than anyone I have ever loved anyone, and even though you are gone, my love for you grows every single day. In my thoughts, in my actions, in my decisions, in my forgiveness, in my turning the other cheek, I think of you. I think of you when we sing our favorite songs in church, when I go fishing, when I see babies and puppies.  I think of you when I drive my car, when I am happy, or when I see God's blessings in my life. I think of you when I am sad, when I cry or when things go haywire. Though I cannot call, I still hear you in my heart and I see you through my actions. My best friend, my sweet heart, my Pa, may you rest in peace. Thank you is not enough to ever repay you for what you have instilled in me and taught me, so I will live it out, in hopes that I can mirror the amazing Christian person you were. And until I see you again, I love you more than you love me.

My favorite person in the whole wide world has passed.  I find comfort in knowing he is in heaven and is no longer suffering.  I can just see him laughing, grinning, fishing with his brother, boating, and working on his puzzles.  I find peace in knowing he is with the Lord.  He was the light of my life and I cannot express in words how much I loved him and miss him..I am blessed to have so many friends that have shared such happy times.  I so miss his smile and the way he always made people laugh....I love you Daddy...your Teddy Tehind , Harriet
