Gertrude Boyett Rametta, age 89, passed away on December 25, 2016. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Affie and Dora Montgomery on September 10, 1927 in Jacksonville. Gertrude was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by those who lives she touched.
Gertrude is preceded in death by her former husband, Marl Jennings Boyett; one daughter, Donna Boyett Lance; and her parents, Affie and Dora Lee Montgomery.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph P. Rametta; two sons, Norman Wayne Boyett (Sharon) of Jacksonville and Kenneth Marl Boyett (Linda, deceased) of Athens, Texas; grandchildren Kimberly Boyett Cooner, Bobbie Jean Boyett Stamps, Pamela Boyett Cherry, Jennifer Lance Zundt, Kenneth Boyett, JR., and Lisa Lance Brumit; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 2:30pm at Town and Country Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
