Fred E. Singer

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Doris.

He is survived by his 3 children Ilene (Jeffrey), Gary (Sue Ventura), and Richard (Dana) and his 7 grandchildren, Annie (Peter), Rachel (Ross), Sara, Brian (Michele), Eric, Josh (Nicole) and Martin and 5 great-grandchildren (Ruth, Dillon, Benjamin, Eleanor, and newborn baby boy).

Fred served his country in the Army of Occupation in Japan and China, and then went on to a career in civil engineering, serving as the Town Engineer for the Town of Ramapo, NY, and as the Assistant County Engineer for Palm Beach County, FL, and then as a Vice President for the Wantman Group. Fred loved to play golf and was very proud of his 4 holes-in-one.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at the New Cemetery at Evergreen in Jacksonville, FL. Shiva will be observed at the home of Ilene and Jeff Levenson.
