Frances H. Parish

Frances Harmon Parish passed from this life to be with her Lord on Monday, March 14th in Jacksonville FL at the age of 92. She was born on December 15th, 1923 in Durham, North Carolina, the only daughter of Enna and William Harmon.

She was preceded in passing by her loving husband, Charles Frederick Parish, to whom she was married to for 42 years and her brothers, William Norris Harmon and George Lamar Harmon.

She leaves behind her three children, Rebecca Fedor of Daytona, Charles Frederick Parish, Jr. and Frank Lester Parish, both of Jacksonville FL. She also leaves her 3 brothers and 2 sister-in-laws: Elwood and Sheila Harmon of Jacksonville, NC; Reid and Jeanne Harmon and David Gordon Harmon of Jacksonville, FL. In addition, she leaves behind her grandchildren : Matthew David Fedor, Jonathan Mark Fedor, Joshua Mikael Fedor and Frank Lester Parish Jr. and great grandchildren: Ava Nicole Fedor, Deanna Nicole Aloi, Kevin Fedor, Raquel Fedor, Elisa Fedor, Maz Mikael and Meadow Mikael, not to mention numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances was a very accomplished homemaker, chef par excellence, professional seamstress, gardener, camper and acrylic painter of nature. She loved painting flowers and "critters" in landscapes. After moving from Durham, NC, she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, FL and was a lifelong Murray Hill resident.

Frances loved classic hymns and sang a beautiful soprano in the church choir at Riverside Christian and Evangel Temple. She was an honorary member of the Riverside Garden Club and an avid performer in the Friday Musicale, both of Jacksonville, FL

Funeral Services will be held at 10AM on Friday, March 18th at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 5755 Ramona Boulevard with Pastor Cecil & Gary Wiggins officiating with interment directly after at Riverside Memorial Park on Normandy Boulevard.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Evangel Temple Assembly of God Building Fund.
