Flora S. Lawson passed away September 25, 2010. She was born June 28, 1914 in Oakland, California. She moved to Jacksonville in 1945 and worked as a registered nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital for several years. She moved to Texas in 1963 and retired from the Dallas Veteran’s Administration Hospital in 1982. Ms. Lawson was a WWII Veteran.
Ms. Lawson was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lawson. Ms. Lawson is survived by: sons Richard Lawson and Eric (Charla) Lawson; daughter Heather Lawson; and grandchildren Ashley Lawson and Marci Lawson.
A Memorial Service and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
