Ernest once again retired from Advance Auto Parts in 2017 but still needed something to do, where he then became a beloved substitute teacher at Interlachen High School.
Ernest was a huge MOPAR fanatic and shared that passion with his children. Ernest loved Florida Gator Football, and being a die hard fan, the angriest you would ever see him get was watching the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ernest wore a bright smile and always maintained a cheerful and positive demeanor. Known to be goofy and outgoing Ernest was truly loved by all.
