HEALY – Edward A. Healy, 81, passed away on May 11, 2013. He was a chemistry professor and administrator for over 50 years, 15 years at Providence College and 36 years at the University of North Florida where he was a charter faculty member. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Norma; children, Karen Palm (David), Linda Healy, Edward Healy (Liz), William Healy (Michele), Mary Healy, and Joan Weiss (Larry); 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first wife of 45 years, Joan and brothers, Thomas and Robert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 14th in St. Joseph's Historic Church, 4152 Loretto Rd. Jacksonville, with Rev. Daniel Cody as Celebrant, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
