Diana Puig Howard

Diana P. Howard, age 80, passed away on May 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Enrique and Mercedes Puig. Diana is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Earl Howard, children, Kim Hall (Ronnie Deceased), Anthony R. Roque (Glenda), Richard E. Howard (Angie), Michael A. Howard (Sandi), Marcus W. Howard (Barbara); sister, Aida Portuges (Angel), 13 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, and countless nieces, nephews and friends.

Diana spent a few years as a nurse at Baptist Hospital before dedicating over 40 years serving the community as a local Real Estate agent with Watson Realty. Although Diana was dedicated to her career, she always found time to attend her children's and grandchildren's athletic and extracurricular activities.

Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10th, from 6-8 p.m. at Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Riverstone Community Church, where she attended, 6800 W. 5th St., Jacksonville, FL 32254, on Thursday, May 11th, beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Rick Baldwin and Elmer Crews (nephew) will be co-officiating her service. V. Ashley Roque, David E. Howard, Joshua W. Howard, Brook A. Roque, Justin E. Howard, and Richard G. Howard will serve as their grandmother’s pallbearers with Brandon M. Howard serving as an honorary pallbearer. Burial following funeral services will be held at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to donate to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida in honor of Diana Howard.
