Deborah A. Schubert, 52, passed away peacefully December 11, 2010 after a battle with cancer.
A native of Jacksonville, Debbie is survived by her parents, Max and Mattie Schubert, her brothers, Max Jr. and Chuck, her children, Jessica, Robert Taylor and Kevin. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
Debbie graduated from Englewood High School in 1976 and also attended Fla. Community College. She was captain of the cheerleading squad for the Jacksonville Tea Men when professional soccer was in Jacksonville. Debbie worked for Deluxe check printers for several years and worked for Pride Enterprise until her passing. In between all of that she opened her own flower shop in Fruit Cove and named it "Jessies", after her daughter. Family and friends will remember Debbie for her sense of humor and big heart. She always had a hard time saying "no" when someone really needed something. She loved her friends, her dogs and her children.
