David, a native of Jacksonville, FL, was an avid lover of fishing, a loving husband, a strong family leader, a gentle father and a fun, witty grandfather.
He began his career at the age of 15 in retail and worked his way up to the meat department manager, retiring from both Winn Dixie and Publix. His true passion, freshwater bass fishing, began when he was young and continued throughout his life, until his passing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his daughters, Teresa (Bud) and Tracy; stepdaughters, Chandra (Tadd) and Jacqueline (Rob); stepson, Brandon (Christina); 11 grandchildren; sister, Victoria; and brother, Joseph.
A remembrance of David’s life will be held at 4:00pm, on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Isle of Faith United Methodist Church (UMC), 1821 San Pablo Road S Jacksonville, FL 32224, with Pastor Will Clark officiating.
