David Alexander Beeler, 35, of Jacksonville, Florida, died at home on July 24, 2011. He was born June 10, 1976, in Gibson City, Illinois. He was the son of David (Carol) Beeler of Jacksonville, Florida, and Sandy (Jerry) Rhoden, of Macclenny, Florida. He is survived by his sister, Kim (Fred) Yarborough of Macclenny, Florida; grandmother, Jane Beeler of Jacksonville, Florida; stepbrothers, Gerald Ray Rhoden and Scotty (Tara) Rhoden; stepsister, Lisa (Wayne) Mobley and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. David proudly served the United States Marine Corps Reserves for 8 years and was honorably discharged in June 2002. He was educated at the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He was employed full-time as a verification analyst at Digital Risk, LLC. David loved his family, especially the family gatherings and enjoyed going to baseball games with his dad. He was actively involved and had many good friends in the Mandarin AA YPG. He was an avid sports fan of the Florida Gators and Chicago Cubs and also liked the adventure of four-wheeling and jet skiing. David attended Celebration Church of Jacksonville. “Bear” Beeler, a pugle mixed breed will surely miss him. A graveside service will be held at Mandarin Cemetery on Thursday, July 28, at 10 am with Tim Thomas officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to JABA Club, 3645 Springpark Road, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
