Cory Jefferson White, age 41, passed away February 5, 2023 in Jacksonville, Florida. Cory was a loved son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was born July 3, 1981 in Jacksonville to Lannie Dale White and Gloria C. White. Cory’s passions included being an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, hunting, and fishing, was very good at drawing and was creative, cartoons, loved lottery scratch off tickets, and he enjoyed good old fashioned country music. He also had a love for tattoos (too much some would say). Cory was also known to have a love for his family, including his nieces who he deeply cherished, and his momma. He was known for all kids to love him, and was very caring towards them. Cory would give the shirt off his back to help others in need, no matter what to help someone with his genuine caring and loving heart he was known for.
Cory was preceded in death by his wife, Shelley Hacker-White; one uncle, Bruce Merritt; and one niece Kayla White. He is survived by his father Dale White (Kelly); mother Gloria White (Ron Brannen); sister Karin Sprague (Steven); brother Cheyenne White; and nieces Nevaeh, Gracie, Loriel, and Claire Sprague.
